This Dreamy Mocha Protein Smoothie is the perfect fix for when you’re craving something sweet! I love to have this smoothie post-workout to refuel. It tastes like a chocolate shake, but it’s filled with protein and healthy vitamins and minerals, and is the perfect post-workout snack.
What You’ll Need:
- 1 scoop protein powder (I used Kaizen Vegan Chocolate Protein this time, but I also love the Tone It Up Protein, or Garden of Life Protein)
- 1/2 a frozen banana
- 0.5-1 tsp maca Powder
- 1 tsp espresso powder (can omit if you would just like a chocolate protein smoothie)
- 1 tsp cacao nibs
- 1 tsp cacao powder
- 1 cup almond milk
- 3 ice cubes
