This Dreamy Mocha Protein Smoothie is the perfect fix for when you’re craving something sweet! I love to have this smoothie post-workout to refuel. It tastes like a chocolate shake, but it’s filled with protein and healthy vitamins and minerals, and is the perfect post-workout snack.

Dreamy Mocha Protein Smoothie

What You’ll Need: 

  • 1 scoop protein powder (I used Kaizen Vegan Chocolate Protein this time, but I also love the Tone It Up Protein, or Garden of Life Protein)
  • 1/2 a frozen banana
  • 0.5-1 tsp maca Powder
  • 1 tsp espresso powder (can omit if you would just like a chocolate protein smoothie)
  • 1 tsp cacao nibs
  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3 ice cubes

Blend and enjoy!
